A leading photomask manufacturer in North America recently contracted the AM Cleanroom Build and Performance (AMCBP) team to complete a cleanroom testing and certification project on a newly constructed 12,000 square foot clean space.
The photomask is an essential device used in the manufacturing process of integrated circuits. It is a transparent glass plate on which extremely fine microcircuit patterns are etched on the light shielded film and plays a role as the negative film when circuits are printed on silicon wafers. Photomasks are then used in the semiconductor manufacturing process.
Due to the high level of sensitivity and complexity surrounding this manufacturing process, the company wanted highly skilled specialists to perform this project, and AMCBP was the perfect fit since there are three NEBB Certified Professionals on the team.
The scope included airflow testing 1,500 HEPA filters, particle counts, and room pressure tests.
”AMCBP helped develop the industry’s standard protocols and testing specifications, as well as some of the key instrumentation, testing media, and standard documentation in use today,” says Emil Bordelon, Senior NEBB Certified Professional.
“Hiring us gives a facility peace of mind because our experience and skill allows us to identify and solve any issues,” finished Bordelon.
