AM Cleanroom Build and Performance (AMCBP) recently completed an intense cleanroom construction conversion project for a Texas-based company manufacturing silicon epitaxial products in the semiconductor industry.
The client had a 4-day window of time for the project team to convert a 2,000 square foot ISO 7 facility to an ISO 3 classification, while combining it with an adjacent 2,000 square foot ISO 3 classified room. The Cleanroom Technicians performed work on the ceiling system, ULPA filters and a 600 linear feet of cleanroom wall systems.
The team finished ahead of schedule, on budget, and was able to deliver a certified 4,000 square foot ISO 3 classified cleanroom facility.
“Our onsite project manager was making project updates on an hourly basis while keeping the facility owner up-to-date on progress. We believe in providing complete project visibility because it builds trust and gives our client insight into the details and processes being completed in real-time,” says Robert Logston, Cleanroom Construction Product Manager at AM Technical Solutions.
“The timeline was the most critical component of this project because every day that the facility was shut down, the customer was losing productivity. Our team really delivered because they still maintained the high level of quality we expect while constantly monitoring and performing ahead of an incredibly intense timeline requirement,” says Logston.
AMCBP is a NEBB-Certified company having completed over 5,000 projects including various scopes of cleanroom construction: construction management, cleanroom certification, design / build, QA/QC analytical testing, and cleanroom testing, visit their website at www.AMCleanroomBuild.com.
