The team from AM Technical Solutions (AM) recently participated in the 2025 RBI Austin Golf Classic at the beautiful Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas. As a hole sponsor and long-time supporter of RBI Austin, AM was honored to once again stand alongside an organization that is transforming lives across our community.
The second annual tournament brought together business leaders, community partners, and sports legends for a day of purpose-driven competition. By the end of the event, an incredible $350,750 was raised, exceeding 100% of the goal for the event.
Community is at the heart of who we are as a company. Supporting the golf tournament fundraiser was one of the many ways we live out our culture of giving back to the communities where we live and work. Learn how this amazing gathering directly benefited 1,700 RBI Austin kids throughout the Central Texas region that we call home.
2025 RBI Austin Golf Classic: A Day of Competition for a Greater Cause
The tournament featured a four-person scramble format, creating a fun and collaborative atmosphere on one of Austin’s most coveted courses. Players competed in in-game contests like Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive, with mulligans and raffle tickets adding to the excitement during registration.
But while the drives were long and the putts were competitive, everyone on the course knew the real win was happening off the green.
RBI Austin is an affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities program. What began in 2009 as a grassroots summer baseball team of 15 East Austin kids has grown into a thriving nonprofit serving thousands of youth ages 4–18.
Through baseball and softball leagues, clinics, family benevolence support, and Christian-based mentoring, RBI Austin is committed to developing young people athletically, academically, and spiritually. Consider some recent highlights of the program:
- Grew high school softball participation from 122 to 170 athletes.
- Served a record 1,670 kids in 2024.
- Celebrated its fourth 18U Regional Championship in six years.
- Sent four players to the MLB RBI World Series after more than a decade in the program.
As RBI Austin continues to grow each year, they continue to praise God for the growth and impact made possible through community support. The mission remains the same: to serve kids and families with excellence and faith, trusting that God will continue to provide what’s needed in the year ahead.
The mission, purpose, and clear community impact continue to draw increasing support each year. For example, one of the highlights of the charity tournament was the opportunity to play alongside an incredible lineup of celebrity guests, including Texas sports legends Roger Clemens, Jamaal Charles, Brandon Belt, Drew Stubbs, Corey Knebel, and Derrick Johnson, among many others.
Their presence at the 2025 RBI Austin Golf Classic added energy and excitement to the course, but more importantly, it reinforced the power of community. When professional athletes, business leaders, and nonprofit partners rally together, meaningful change happens.
