Michael Tremain is a Partner at Sovereign’s Capital where he concentrates on investment sourcing and portfolio management, focusing on lower-middle market opportunities. His career includes stints with TrinRock Capital, Andersen Consulting, the Walt Disney Company, and Hard Rock Cafe International. He has led several privately held companies in the technology, wholesale distribution, oil & gas, healthcare, residential construction, and commercial services sectors.
Michael earned his BS in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his MS in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics. He and his wife, Kristin, and four children live in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, and attend Rock Creek Fellowship. Michael is a member of C-12 Group and the CEO Forum and also serves on the board of directors of the New Canaan Society.

Juan G. Hernandez Abrams is an operating partner at Sovereign’s Capital focusing on AM Technical Solutions’s growth and advising its leadership team. Before this role, Juan spent nearly 35 years at Fluor Corporation where he held leadership roles and positions in senior management, global operations, construction, business development, and strategic planning.
He is a former president of the Advanced Technologies & Life Sciences business line at Fluor Corporation. His responsibilities included global accountability for safety excellence, project execution, and financial performance. He was responsible for Fluor Corporation’s global pharmaceutical, biologics, advanced technologies, and advanced manufacturing markets. During his tenure at Fluor Corporation, he served as president of the Industrial Services business line which included global management of the Operations and Maintenance as well as the Manufacturing and Life Sciences business groups. The responsibilities within the Operations and Maintenance group included sites throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He also served as vice president and general manager, residing in Santiago, Chile for the Mining and Metals business line. Responsibilities included the overall operations, execution, and delivery of large-scale mining projects as well as their financial performance.
Juan earned his degree from the University of Maine and is a graduate of the Thunderbird University International Management Program, the INSEAD International Strategic Management Program, and the London Business School International Business Program. He is a non-executive director and board member at the Keller Group plc. He resides in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife.

Dave joined AMTS in 2024 following a 28-year career in the life sciences and advanced technologies industries, including biotech, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, data centers, and related high-tech markets. Early in his career, he progressed through technical engineering, project controls, project management, and various sales and account management roles. His career includes seventeen moves, including several international assignments in Kuwait, Denmark, and China as well as work in various locations across the United States.
Before joining AMTS, Dave was responsible for the global delivery and business results of a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of engineering, procurement, construction, and validation projects across the US, Europe, and Asia in high-tech markets for Fluor Corporation (FLR). He is a former board member of Novo Nordisk Engineering – Americas (NNE).
In his new role at AMTS, Dave will advise executive leadership on strategies to drive business growth, further diversify the company’s business portfolio, and enhance project execution. He will also focus on helping AMTS scale responsibly while preserving the company’s strong culture and high-quality brand.
Dave earned his BS in Civil Engineering at Clemson University and completed his Graduate Studies at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Management. He and his wife, Emily, have been married since May of 1996 and have two daughters, Lauren and Ashley. They enjoy serving their community, adventure travel, golf, tennis, and spending time on the lake.
