AM Technical Solutions (AM) is proud to recognize Julie Barberio, Vice President of Client Solutions at Sequence, as the new President of the ISPE Carolina-South Atlantic Chapter for the 2026-27 term.
AM Technical Solutions acquired Sequence earlier this year, bringing its team and Life Science expertise into the AM organization. Julie’s appointment gives her another opportunity to contribute to an industry she has spent her career supporting while helping ISPE CaSA strengthen the community around it.
A Focus on Connection and Engagement
ISPE CaSA brings together pharmaceutical and Life Science professionals, students, educators, and industry partners throughout the region.
In her first message as President, Julie shared that one of the things she values most about ISPE is the opportunity to connect with people who care deeply about advancing the industry and are willing to share their knowledge with others.
That sense of connection will shape much of her focus during the coming year.
Julie plans to strengthen engagement with end users and continue growing the chapter’s membership. She also wants to create more opportunities for students and professionals who are early in their pharmaceutical careers to become involved, meet people in the industry, and find a place within the ISPE community.
Her goal is for members to feel welcome and connected, whether they have participated in ISPE for years or are attending their first event.
Participation can take many forms. Members can attend events, volunteer, join industry conversations, invite colleagues, or introduce students to the organization. Each interaction gives people another way to learn from one another and become more involved in the chapter.
Building Opportunities for the Year Ahead
Julie also wants the chapter to continue creating meaningful opportunities for members to learn, collaborate, and grow throughout the 2026–27 term.
The chapter’s mix of experienced professionals and people entering the industry creates space for knowledge sharing, new relationships, and stronger connections across the pharmaceutical community.
“I’m looking forward to meeting many of you throughout the year, hearing your ideas, and working together to continue building a chapter that provides meaningful opportunities to learn, collaborate, and grow together,” Julie shared in her President’s Message.
Her new role with ISPE CaSA also reflects the level of industry involvement that Julie and the Sequence team bring to AM Technical Solutions.
