The fun started last year at the inaugural music festival, benefiting the Atlantic Christian School in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. And it continued last weekend at the 2nd Annual ACS Music Festival.
The event, presented by Soldiers For Faith Ministries, featured performances by chart topping Christian bands, some surprise performances from ACS students, and dynamic Christian speakers who shared their testimonies.
“The event drew over 1500 people this year which was several times bigger than the crowd last year. There were a lot of families, students and other people from the greater Atlantic City area who came to enjoy the atmosphere and Christian performances,” says Kelly McAndrew, CEO of AM Technical Solutions and Founder of the Soldiers For Faith Ministry.
The event opened with a local Christian act, The Glenn Taylor Band, and featured the bands that are a part of the “Change A Life” tour, Audio Adrenaline, Kutless, Finding Favour, and Shine Bright Baby.
Mixed in through the musical performances was Christian speaker/rapper Joe Rowell, both Kelly McAndrew and SFF’s Rich Garza, as well as a touching performance of “Amazing Grace” by a handful of ACS students.
The music and crowd excitement built throughout the day, and reached a high point when Finding Favour, Kutless and Audio Adrenaline performed.
Kids also enjoyed a rock wall, video games, face painting and other carnival activities. Many families gathered in the prayer tent to speak and pray with members of Soldiers for Faith throughout the event.
“We were so blessed to partner with the Change A Life tour this year. All of these artists are nationally recognized and are just great Christian performers. We hope to make them a part of the event for years to come,” finishes McAndrew.
100% of the proceeds raised during the event went to Atlantic Christian School where so many of their students go on to serve communities around the World.
