Cole started the first twin 50 race in 2nd position, and finished in 3rd after making contact on the final turn while pushing to race for the win. He then started the second twin 50 race in 6th position, after the invert, took over the lead in Lap 7, led for over 40 laps, and ended up just short of the win with a photo finish.
Cole is driving for Lee Faulk Racing out of Charlotte, NC for the 2017 season.
