4:12 Kids is a wonderful non-profit organization that was founded by two of our employees, Charity and Kevin Kittrell. The organization supports the Central Texas community by hosting events and activities that benefit local children and their families.
This year’s annual Back-to-School event served students from 13 different school districts throughout Central Texas. . And, for the first time, 4:12 Kids reached outside the state of Texas to serve students in Nokesville, Virginia. What an amazing milestone for the organization!
For the third year in a row, AM Technical Solutions (AM) had the privilege of providing all the backpacks; this year they doubled their efforts and provided more than 1,000 backpacks to cover both events.

Impacting Students for the First Time in Nokesville, VA
4:12 Kids has grown exponentially thanks to the generosity of multiple donors. This allowed the organization to travel to Nokesville, Virginia to put on a backpack/school supply drive. The organization partnered with Finlay Fire and the Nokesville Volunteer Fire Department Station #5 to distribute nearly 500 backpacks filled with school supplies.
The drive-through style event was a huge success with students and families in the area. After the event, the remainder of the backpacks, approximately 50, were donated to a local school to be used throughout the year for student transfers, homeless families, foster children, and other purposes as needed.
The amazing part of the story is that this was the first time this type of event took place in the area. This brought out Dr. Andy Jacks, the principal of The Nokesville School, to participate in the event with the 4:12 Kids team. Here is a breakdown of the impact in Nokesville:
- 489 kids served
- 179 families impacted
- 20 volunteers served
- 549 total backpacks donated by our company
