AM Cleanroom Build and Performance recently completed a highly sensitive cleanroom relocation project for a Texas-based semiconductor company.
The facility owner had a 2-week time frame in which to relocate an ISO 6 (Class 1,000), 750 square foot cleanroom from their existing location to a new location. The owner needed to select a company capable of meeting these strict requirements on a very tight timeline, with no room for error.
“We were originally brought in by the property owner because they were planning to demolish the existing building. They inquired within their network of general contracting relationships, and were directed to our group because we have built a reputation as a team with the ability to deliver on projects with difficult parameters,” says Robert Logston, Cleanroom Construction Product Manager, AM Technical Solutions.
“They were required to adhere to an ISO 6 classification, but after performing the cleanroom testing and certification, we actually certified them to an ISO 5 classification,” finishes Logston.
