AM Technical Solutions (AM) supports leading semiconductor companies across the U.S. We are constantly looking for opportunities to help our clients complete critical construction and modification projects in a safe manner during live factory production.
We were recently awarded an architectural “bulletproofing” project that will incorporate “bulletproof” design concepts into existing operating facilities.
“Bulletproofing” is valuable because it protects people, key equipment, and factory production during critical construction projects. The goal is to protect the facility – without compromising safety and quality – to support production of the facility.
Our expert team will ensure the facility’s production is protected and any downtime is prevented during these key construction projects. We will deliver the project according to the client’s timeline, budget, and quality requirements with no disruptions to ongoing work at the facility.
Our Scope for the Architectural Bulletproofing Project
The first steps in this architectural project will be to arrive on-site to walk the facility, talk to the client’s team on the ground, and begin coordinating plans with the trades who will be supporting the project work.
Our bulletproof project manager and team lead will then strategically develop a plan for construction areas that could cause interruption to production inside the facility. Once we capture these areas, the bulletproof working crew will perform critical tasks.
Part of the reason for the initial assessment is we need to assess the severity of tools and equipment that will need protection. This step will influence the size of the work crew that performs the bulletproofing work.
During the actual work, our architectural bulletproofing team will work alongside the semiconductor team and trades team to complete additional walk-throughs in the facility. We will look for other areas that may benefit from bulletproofing.
To ensure efficiency, our team will handle the project materials, including ordering, inventory, and storage. Taking ownership of material coordination will ensure our team can deliver the project within the client’s required timeline.
“This is a critical project that will require the utmost attention to detail and professionalism to ensure the integrity of our client’s facility during production,” says Dan Codi, AM COO. “We are confident that our team will satisfy the project requirements so our client can safely continue semiconductor production without disruption.”
