AMTS Sponsored driver Austin Wayne Self will begin his 2014 season with some practice at the renowned Daytona International Speedway during the Lucas Oil 200 presented by MAVTV American Real. Since Self is just a few weeks short of his 18th birthday, which comes on March 6th, he will not be permitted to go through qualifying or participate in the race. However, he will be able to go through practice, which will earn him some valuable season points for the 2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Since Self is expected to compete for the ARCA Rookie of the Year award, these points are important.
