In our final charity spotlight of the year, we are focusing on Life Choices Rowan, a nonprofit organization that offers support and resources to women (and men) facing unplanned pregnancies. We spotlighted this amazing organization in 2024, and we would like to provide an update on their latest efforts to deliver hope in challenging circumstances.
The Latest Updates from Life Choices Rowan
Driven by the faith-based conviction that every life matters, Life Choices Rowan guides new parents through the challenges of an unexpected pregnancy. The Salisbury, N.C.-based ministry partners with companies, individuals, and the community to provide free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and consultations, ensuring parents can make informed decisions to choose life.
Their support extends beyond pregnancy to include one-on-one post-pregnancy family services, where qualified staff help parents navigate the journey of raising young children based on their specific needs.
In 2025, Life Choices Rowan held monthly community diaper drives, a baby bottle campaign, their yearly Walk for Life event, and the 39th annual Gala for Life. Each of these events is designed to raise awareness and funds to support their programs and provide care to vulnerable new parents.
This year’s signature Gala for Life event was titled “Faith, Family, and the Fight for Life,” featuring Alan and Lisa Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame. 
The Robertsons inspired those in attendance with a powerful story of faith, restoration, and advocacy for life. Attendees enjoyed an evening of fellowship, impactful storytelling, and the opportunity to support a meaningful cause.
Looking ahead to 2026, the ministry will host their 30th annual Walk For Life event in Spring 2026. There will be games, food, and a time of prayer for the community, unborn children, and leadership.
Life Choices Rowan will also host their annual Baby Bottle Campaign from Mother’s Day in May 2026 to Father’s Day in June. This is a life-changing opportunity for churches and organizations across Rowan County to collect and distribute baby bottles filled with coins, cash, and checks to support local parents.
