Record-Breaking Results at the AJGA Southpointe Tournament
Since 2019, Southpointe Golf Club has been the site of a go-to summer tournament for amateur golfers looking to challenge themselves. We have seen the event grow through the years as a springboard for future collegiate and professional golfers.
This year, the tournament field included 78 boys and girls ages 12-19. The event consisted of 54 holes of stroke play competition featuring five golfers ranked in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, three college commits, and seven past AJGA champions.
By the end of the AJGA Southpointe junior tournament, two golfers separated themselves from the pack:
- Boys Winner: Eddie Gu of Bradenton, Florida. Eddie broke the boys’ division tournament record after tying for 12th in last year’s tournament.
- Girls Winner: Nobelle Park of Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Nobelle broke the girls’ tournament record, won the girls’ division by four strokes, and recorded her third AJGA win in 2025.
With a growing field of skilled players and heightened stakes, participants are raising their game to claim the top spot in this prestigious event. We are excited to see how the tournament continues to grow in the years to come.
“We would like to extend our gratitude to AJGA leaders for spearheading a great tournament that continues to draw in top golfers from across the world,” says Bob Fountaine, SVP, Sales. “We are pleased to offer our title support for an event that is positively impacting the lives of future professionals on their career journey.”
