For nearly 13 years, AM Technical Solutions has sponsored 18-year-old ARCA driver Austin Wayne Self. From his days at the local karting track, to his start in late model cars in NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, to his current schedule on the ARCA and NASCAR K&N Pro series, the sponsorship program has grown along with Austin’s racing skills.
“Austin has consistently improved and progressed as a driver year-to-year. He has moved up to higher levels of competition each season and is fortunate to be on one of the top late model teams in the country, Cunningham Motorsports (Driver Development partner for Penske). This season he’s competing at the top Superspeedways on national TV broadcasts on Fox Sports 1 and the CBS Sports Network. So our brand really getting strong exposure,” says Kelly McAndrew, CEO of AM Technical Solutions. “The other thing that is so important to us is that Austin and his team align great with our values and company culture.”
Self is in strong contention for the Scott Rookie of the Year award, and has already achieved two Scott Rookie Challenge of the Race awards in just four races this season.

“We wish Austin and his team continued success this season and look forward to seeing him in victory lane!” says McAndrew.
