The RBI Austin organization hosted a successful edition of their “Now At Bat” banquet on Thursday night, January 27 in Austin, Texas.
More than 700 people attended the 2022 RBI Austin Now At Bat benefit at the JW Marriott Austin. AM Technical Solutions (AM) had three tables during the banquet. We have proudly supported the organization for many years, and we were thrilled to see such a great turnout for a special evening.
By the end of the night, RBI Austin raised an amazing $803,000, which was a record for the organization. The funds will be instrumental in providing valuable resources to 1,350+ RBI Austin kids, their families, and the community through the vehicle of sports.
Highlights of RBI Austin Now At Bat 2022
The annual banquet reinforced the mission of RBI Austin to invest in the lives of kids that participate in the organization.
RBI Austin believes that the greatest need in any child’s life is relationships – both relationships with people and a relationship with God. Baseball and softball serve as a great way to build up each child’s character, strengthen their connections, and access tools that can help them become future leaders in their community.
Through the generous donations during the banquet, RBI Austin will be able to continue their work of helping each RBI Austin kid grow and develop both on and off the field.
During the banquet, we were treated to messages from an all-star line-up of successful sports figures that helped reinforce the mission of RBI Austin:
- Davie Pierce, the manager of the Texas Longhorns baseball team, which entered the 2022 college baseball season as the #1 ranked team in the country.
- Cat Osterman, the legendary Texas Longhorns softball pitcher and a member of the recent Team USA Olympics softball squad.
- David Freese, a World Series hero for the 2011 St. Louis Cardinals team.
- Mark Henry, a WWE Hall of Famer and a strong supporter of the Central Texas community.
“We are proud to support an amazing organization that positively impacts kids throughout Austin,” says Tony Manti, VP Procurement and Strategic Sourcing. “The legacy of RBI Austin continues to grow as they build up future leaders through sports and help each kid strengthen their bond with each other, with God, and with their community.”
