We were recently awarded a project that called for significant modifications to the flooring configuration at a data center in the Southwestern U.S.
The project is time-sensitive in nature and part of the larger construction work being performed at the data center. Our company will play a significant role supporting the customer’s overall project timeline, as well as delivering on cost and quality.
Project Work to Be Completed at Data Center
We have been contracted to provide specific services to support the integrity of the data center flooring. Included is mobilization of workers, tools, and equipment to perform the work and taking necessary steps to clean up our work to ensure the customer can maintain a clean, safe, and orderly project site.
Included in our project work is working around existing CRAHs (Computer Room Air Handler) units that support the cooling function in the data center. The full range of services that we will be providing during this project include:
- Remove floor panels at each CRAH for a total of 100 floor panels.
- Modify and reinstall floor panels to fit around each CRAH.
- Remove, cut, and reinstall floor panels for PNL cut outs.
- Remove, cut, and reinstall floor panels at Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
- Remove, cut, and reinstall floor panels at Static Transfer Switches (STSs).
