AM Technical Solutions (AM) is supported by an amazing group of employees and subject matter experts from various backgrounds. One of the most important segments of our employee base is our military veterans.
We recently had the opportunity to partner with a client in the Southwest U.S. for a special Veterans Day tribute event. The event was held on-site at the client’s facility, where we are currently providing high-tech construction project services.
The event brought together four local AM employees who served in the military, several members of the logistics team we are partnering with on the project, executive leaders from our client’s company, and community members to honor our vets.
An Awe-Inspiring Veterans Day Tribute
The tribute event started bright and early on the morning of Veterans Day. AM employees, our project partners, and active U.S. service members huddled together to discuss military service and share their common bond of serving their country.
The project teams then showed tremendous teamwork by attaching a massive U.S. flag to a crane and hoisting it in the air. This portion of the event was extremely moving for all attendees, as the flag served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who have served or currently serve in the military to defend our freedoms.
Our client’s leadership team then gave heartfelt speeches to recognize the veterans and their service. The powerful words were followed by a time of giving out gifts. Our company was proud to supply some of the gifts given to the veterans in attendance.
