We are looking for Cleanroom Superintendents to join our fast-paced construction projects with our Cleanroom Construction Division! You will be the primary interface between the client, suppliers and other contractors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The individual will provide the day-to-day leadership necessary to direct materials, equipment, and installers in the cleanroom construction project. This includes input on estimates, schedules and quality control during the project pre-construction and construction phases. The Cleanroom Superintendent will ensure best practices in field operations to guarantee timely completion of projects, quality control and success of the project. The Cleanroom Superintendent should have a background in all aspects of cleanroom construction and be willing to travel as required for projects.
- Responsible for meeting or improving project schedules
- Conducts necessary meetings with customer for project review and ensures meetings are documented
- Is responsible for on-site quality control, fit and finish
- Manages and coordinates subcontractor activities on site
- Conducts weekly/daily job safety meetings
- Tracks subcontractor labor through daily sign in sheets
- Develops punch lists with customer
- Is responsible for drawing mark-up for as-built drawings
- Solves coordination and construction problems in the field
- Submit daily and weekly job reports
- Update project schedules, weekly
Position Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written using MS Office suite
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel for extended periods of time, as required
- Knowledge of HVAC is preferred
- Can demonstrate knowledge of construction process and job coordination by job-related experience
- Travel as necessary
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or at least four years of job experience as a Construction Project Superintendent
