We are looking for a self-starter International Accounting Manager to join the AMTS-Europe finance and accounting team supporting our international operations. This person will be responsible for preparing/overseeing internal financial documents, coordinating tax payments, supporting annual audits, HR and Payroll functions along with reviewing procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the insourcing of accounting for the business
- Coordinate month-end close process
- Ensure accounting records are accurate and complete
- Prepare/Review internal financial and operating reporting
- Support finance, tax and accounting for international affiliates as directed
- Partner with US accounting office on consolidated financial statements
- Research non-routine accounting transactions and impact of new accounting pronouncements to the business
- Develop / Prepare monthly management dashboard
- Manage and direct activities of the administration team
- Work with field and management on project accounting/reporting issues
- Create and manage documents for special projects
- Support / manage annual financial audit
- Coordinate submission of tax information for statutory filings
- Manage / coordinate 3rd-party professional services providers
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant preferred
- 10 years’ relevant experience
- Detail oriented with excellent organization and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Xero, MS Dynamics Great Plains or equivalent ERP accounting platform
- Work independently and in group settings on special project and routine assignments
- Team player with ability to work in-person or remote as needed
- Ability to manage competing priorities
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting
- Industry experience a plus
