AM Technical Solutions congratulates our friends at Soldiers for Faith on the success of the 3rd Annual Katie’s Challenge 3-on-3 basketball tournament. The competition, held at Williamsburg Christian Academy, was intense with some of Williamsburg’s best players turning out for the all day event.
Players and fans honored the life of Katie Mausteller, an alumni of WCA who was known for her playing ability on the court and field but even more so for her testimony for Jesus Christ. Mausteller graduated from Williamsburg Christian Academy in 2008, where she played basketball and soccer. In 2007, she scored 500 points in a basketball season and 1,000 total while on the team. She was also named girls’ basketball team captain and made the All-Conference Team for the Metro Athletic Conference in high school. In soccer, Mausteller was named the 2007 tournament MVP and made the All-Conference team.
Terri Hill, Professional Basketball Coach and Author, brought the pre-game chapel. If you live in the Williamsburg area be sure to join SFF for this annual event next year!
“We feel so blessed to have had such great support for the third annual event. We had a fun day on the courts with some competitive teams and games. And most importantly, we honored Katie’s faith and spirit that was so special to all that knew her. We can’t wait for the event next year,” says Kelly McAndrew, Founder of Soldiers for Faith and CEO of AM Technical Solutions.
