One of the ways that SEFA supports the industry is through their annual Lab of the Year Awards. This year, we are excited to announce that Abbie Gregg, our Chief Technology Officer (CTO), has been selected as a judge for the SEFA Lab of the Year.
Abbie Gregg an Ideal Fit as SEFA Lab of the Year Judge
Abbie will join other professionals in judging various projects that are submitted for this year’s SEFA Lab of the Year Awards. Some of the projects under consideration focus on the architecture of labs, fume hoods and casework, work surfaces, storage cabinets, and laboratory fixtures.
We believe that Abbie is the ideal fit to participate in this year’s judging because of her extensive experience supporting the design and engineering of advanced laboratories in markets such as semiconductors, higher education, and life sciences.
Abbie has personally led more than 850 projects around the world. She has also committed a considerable amount of time to the advancement of the industry through improved operations effectiveness across all phases of design, engineering, and construction for high-tech facilities.
Abbie will lend her expertise to judging the submitted projects in July and August. The panelists will then gather virtually in September to make final determinations of this year’s award winners.
The evaluation culminates with the presentation of the SEFA Lab of the Year Awards ceremony in November. The ceremony will be part of the SEFA 32nd Annual Meeting & Trade Show scheduled for November 3-5, 2021 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Additionally, there is an international flavor to this year’s awards. A special reception and presentation is scheduled for Arablab 2021 at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai, U.A.E. on November 15. The Arablab Show is expected to attract attendees from more than 100 countries.
