AM Technical Solutions (AM) has been named one of “America’s Most Innovative Companies,” according to the annual list compiled by Fortune.
AM ranked 203rd overall on Fortune’s Most Innovative Companies 2026 list, which evaluated companies from across the United States in numerous industries. Within the Engineering & Construction sector, we earned the 3rd highest ranking.
This recognition reflects the strength of our integrated approach to high-tech construction project delivery – from early design and engineering through construction, commissioning, qualification, and validation – and our ongoing investment in new technologies, digital tools, and ways of working that reduce risk and accelerate time to value for our customers.
How We Qualified for Fortune’s Most Innovative Companies 2026
Now in its fourth edition, the list of Most Innovative Companies highlights organizations that are at the forefront of these areas:
- Product innovation: developing new offerings and continuously improving existing services, backed by the strength and relevance of patent portfolios.
- Process advancement: deploying new technologies, digitalization, and advanced production methods to deliver better, more reliable outcomes.

To determine the rankings, Fortune and Statista used a balanced scoring model that combined the following factors:
- Extensive employee surveys capturing internal views of innovation,
- Expert surveys of professionals such as recruiters, analysts, consultants, and R&D and business development leaders, and
- A patent analysis using the Patent Asset Index from LexisNexis® Intellectual Property Solutions to assess the strength of each company’s intellectual property.
Overall, more than 37,000 employees and experts contributed their perspectives, and patent data was analyzed across over 130 million patent documents to identify the 300 companies leading the way in innovation.
