Starting back in early 2014, the AMQS Analytical Testing teams have tested hundreds of systems, and several thousand high purity process lines at a large U.S. Semiconductor FAB.
The testing scope has covered two major facilities. Currently, the Analytical Test Technicians are working to certify lines in a 565,000 square foot/3 story building that includes a 90,000 square foot cleanroom space. The second facility has a roughly 300,000 square foot cleanroom space.
“The proficiency of our testing technicians is key to the overall production schedule in a semiconductor manufacturing facility. The more efficiently and reliably we can test, help expedite any repair work, and certify lines, the more productivity the FAB owner is able to be,” says Jarrod Anders, Division leader for AMQS.
“Our teams focus on doing their job well, while working in what is typically a complex environment with several vendors involved. We are all working toward the same end objectives for the facility owner,” finishes Anders.
Lines tested carried many different types of high temperature and high pressure vapors and gases, including CO2, nitrogen, argon, methane, and chlorine.
