On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, AM Technical Solutions (AM) announced the continuing sponsorship of Austin Wayne Self in the 2020 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series.
The announcement was made at the new AM Racing facility in Statesville, North Carolina, a new 30,000 sq. ft. race shop that is designed to provide championship-level support.
Another important piece of the announcement is the formation of a new team partnership between AM Racing and Jordan Anderson Racing. The new facility in Statesville will support both Austin’s #22 truck and Jordan Anderson’s #3 truck during the 2020 race season.
“This was a huge project, but we’re glad to be settled into our new home,” said AM Racing team manager Kevin Cywinski.
“Our move to Statesville expands our capabilities in nearly all aspects of our race team including chassis dyno, body and paint, fabrication, 3D printing and much more. More than anything though, this transition signals our commitment to continue to grow and strengthen AM Racing into a championship-caliber operation and we look forward to starting the new season.”
AM Proud to Continue Supporting Austin Wayne Self
Since 2013, AM Technical Solutions has supported Austin’s professional racing career. We are confident that the AM Racing team’s investment in an amazing new facility will lead to even greater success in 2020 and beyond.
More importantly than racing performance, though, is that our continued sponsorship of the #22 truck reflects our commitment to a driver and a team that are aligned with our values.
“Our company is deeply committed to ensuring that any endeavor we sponsor aligns with our company culture and values. AM Racing and Austin Wayne Self fit perfectly,” says Matt Shipley, AM General Manager.
The bold initiative from the AM Racing team coincides with the bold ambitions of our company in 2020. Together, we are confident that we will reach those goals on the race track and in support of our clients, respectively.
Looking Ahead to the 2020 Race Season
In the 2019 race season, Austin Wayne Self picked up one Top 5 finish, three Top 10 finishes, and he finished in the Top 15 of the overall points standings.
Now, Austin has the tools to compete for wins on the race track in 2020. This is part of our company’s support of a five-year plan to help elevate Austin to a championship contender by 2021.
The plan has been intentional, measured, and based on long-term sustainability to ensure that Austin can compete at the highest level in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series.
We are excited for the 2020 race season to begin in February. Stay tuned to the AM Racing Twitter account for updates throughout this year’s race season, which runs through November.
Finally, we would like to congratulate AM Racing, Austin Wayne Self, Jordan Anderson Racing, and the entire team that built the new AM Racing facility in Statesville for their commitment to the vision of a championship-level facility.
