A semiconductor facility in the northeastern United States hired our AM Cleanroom Build & Performance (AMCBP) division to build a 1,000 square foot cleanroom space that meets ISO 5 certification.
Cleanrooms are classified by the number of particles per one cubic feet of air. For ISO 5, or Class 100, the room must have fewer than 832 particles that are .5mm or larger. When you take into account that the average room has over 8,320,000 per cubic feet of air, the work is even more impressive.
To reach the needed level of purity, our technicians built walls, installed lights and ceiling tiles and prepared the floor to ensure that the required standards were met.
“We got this job thanks to our 20 year track record for building and project managing new cleanroom construction projects that are completed on time and on budget,” says Robert Logston, Cleanroom Construction Project Executive.
AMCBP, a Division of AM Technical Solutions, is a NEBB-Certified company having completed over 5,000 projects including various scopes of cleanroom construction: construction management, cleanroom certification, design / build, QA/QC analytical testing, and cleanroom testing.
