AM Technical Solutions (AMTS) is excited to support the Austin Sunshine Camps (ASC) organization and help send local youth to summer camp this year.
AMTS contributed to this year’s ASC programs by becoming a team sponsor. Through our donation made through the Young Men’s Business League – Austin (YMBL), six local kids from our homebase in Austin, Texas, will be able to participate in summer camp.
YMBL provides funding for ASC through individual fundraising campaigns. This year, YMBL raised an amazing total of $345,197 to help make this the largest summer camp program in ASC history.
Why is the Austin Sunshine Camps Program Important to AMTS?
AMTS is deeply entrenched in the Austin community and the leaders in our company have a heart to serve Austin youth. The ASC program extends our company’s reach by providing life-changing camp experiences at no cost to low-income youth and their families.

How Austin Sunshine Camps Impact Youth Lives
Founded by the YMBL in 1928, the Austin Sunshine Camps are a true staple in the Austin community. Throughout the organization’s 91-year history, ASC has directly served tens of thousands of Austin-area kids who have returned to their communities with a greater level of confidence, self-awareness, and development of additional leadership skills.
ASC supports youth in the following manners during each camp:
- Campers receive exciting, relevant, age-appropriate programming focused on STEAM, health and wellness, and the great outdoors.
- Every camper steps out of their comfort zone to try something new in a safe, supportive environment.
- Campers celebrate their own individuality while also feeling a sense of belonging with the ASC family.
Additionally, each camper is supported by a strong support team of staff members. The staffers are deeply invested in their campers’ individual growth and development through the SHINE model:

AMTS is excited to see how our team sponsorship makes a significant difference in the lives of the six Austin-area youth that we helped send to summer camp.
