After a successful four-year stint in Brazil helping build Brazil’s first Semiconductor facility, Ceitec, Johannes Brinkman, CFO and Tim Glasson, SVP of Corporate Development, recently returned to Brazil to continue to support an existing client and to also develop new relationships in South America’s most powerful economic country. Having already completed an extensive project in Brazil, and knowing that there is a large and growing manufacturing sector, AMTS leadership sees specific opportunities to expand their business in this part of the world.
“Our leadership sees great promise in the manufacturing, and specifically the semiconductor, sectors in Brazil. We spent nearly 4 years here on a complex project, and would like to create a business structure that allows us to operate there for one of our existing customers,” says Mr. Brinkmann.
“We know how important it is to have communications in person with our clients to help strengthen communication and trust. It’s really beneficial to have tools like GoToMeeting, Skype and conference calls, but nothing replaces the value and impact of doing business in person,” says Mr. Glasson.
