AM was founded in 1994 to serve the high-tech industry in ways that companies at the time could not. Early milestones – including winning contracts with major semiconductor clients – solidified our reputation for exceptional project execution. These successes enabled our company to grow steadily, hitting significant revenue milestones and expanding the team to more than 1,100 talented professionals around the world.
Our roots are in the semiconductor market, but our expertise has translated to various high-tech markets, including Life Sciences and higher education. Unlike traditional construction firms, we have continued to focus solely on highly technical, specialized projects. Having a singular focus has enabled our company to become trusted experts in the field.
After proving our ability to execute complex projects in the U.S., our client relationships drove the decision to pursue a geographic expansion into European and Asian markets. This global reach strengthened our portfolio and positioned us as a leader capable of addressing complex needs for international capital projects.

- 1994: AM Technical Solutions was founded to deliver quality facility solutions for U.S. semiconductor companies.
- 2001: Developed core competencies around specific construction services (preconstruction, procurement, and construction management services).
- 2004: Opened our first global office in Ireland.
- 2007: Acquired Cleanroom Sciences to expand our capabilities in the Life Science market.
- 2014: Acquired L&L Cleanrooms to expand our cleanroom construction services to clients.
- 2016: Acquired Validation Specialists to deliver pre-construction, commissioning, qualification and validation in the life science markets.
- 2019: Acquired Abbie Gregg, Inc. to expand our offering to include full architecture, engineering, and design services.
- 2023: Acquired Kyron Innovative Technologies to expand our global reach in providing commissioning services for semiconductor, data center, and pharmaceutical markets.
- 2023 & 2024: Opened new global offices in Malaysia and India, respectively, to pursue new project opportunities in Asia.
