AM Technical Solutions (AM) has a unique opportunity with each Life Science project to make a positive impact on the lives of people. Our clients are performing life-saving work, and we appreciate that we can make a difference through our high-tech construction services.
We are currently working with a prominent Life Science company on a facility project in the Northeast U.S. that will allow their team to push their innovative science to the next level and develop cures for patients in need.
Our team has been tasked with providing engineering support to the client, who recently constructed a state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) facility to house their work. Learn about the scope of this project that will enable critical life science research.
Our Project Scope for the Life Science Research Facility
Our primary responsibility is to support asset tagging for the company’s new regional R&D facility. This aspect of the project engineering project is crucial for success, as the tagging and specific asset information that is gathered will be fed directly into the client’s global asset management system.
We are providing Technical Engineering team members to execute the project scope. Our company is uniquely qualified to offer this level of expertise because we have a deep bench of subject matter experts (SMEs) who understand the mechanical installation of these types of building assets.
Our SMEs also understand the information required to build a robust asset management system that will ensure the reliability and functionality of the building assets throughout their life span.
An additional consideration is that the building has already been constructed and occupied, creating a central challenge of completing our tasks without disrupting the client’s day-to-day operations. We are confident that our qualified team members will complete the project without disrupting operations.
“We expect to deliver a fully comprehensive asset management package that documents accurate asset tagging, asset information, and location throughout the building,” says Brian Williams, SVP, Life Sciences. “Moving forward, the client should be able to run an efficient asset management program to ensure the reliability and functionality of their equipment throughout the life of the facility, enabling them to continue their life-saving research.”
