In mid-June, the chapter hosted its first ever event in the Atlanta market. The event was held in the Perimeter Circle area, which is one of the central areas for Life Sciences manufacturers and service providers in the United States.
The education topics were:
- A Cloud You Control and Platform Virtualization in Industrial Control by James Cage, an Automation Consultant at Avid Solutions
- Realizing MES, Cafeteria-style Approach to MES Implementation by Eric Collier, a Validation Scientist at Commissioning Agents
Both tracks were excellent and provided the 40-50 attendees first-hand information from experienced industry experts.
Between the two presentations, Tim Howard-ISPE’s National Board Secretary, flew in to announce that Atlanta will be the host city for the 2016 Annual Meeting at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis on September 18-21, 2016.
In addition to the presenters, there were exhibitor tables and networking event.
The ISPE-CaSA Education Committee is already working on two events in Atlanta for the 2015-16 program year.
