What began as a small summer baseball team has grown into a powerful movement that now serves thousands of kids in the Austin, Texas region. Through the power of baseball and softball, RBI Austin is creating lasting impact for kids and families through sports, mentorship, faith, and strong relationships.
To continue supporting the next generation, AM Technical Solutions (AM) was a sponsor of the RBI Austin Now At Bat 2026 annual benefit event held on Thursday night, January 29th, at the JW Marriott in Austin.
Through the incredible generosity of the RBI Austin community, this year’s fundraiser raised $1,152,121 to support 1,706 RBI Austin kids who participate in baseball and softball leagues throughout Central Texas.
Being an Outstanding Contributor for this year’s gala aligns with our core values of giving back to the communities where we live and work. That’s why we are grateful to stand alongside RBI Austin as a long-standing partner, supporting their mission to invest in future leaders both on and off the field.
RBI Austin Continues to Build Future Leaders
Our company has proudly supported RBI Austin for over a decade. This amazing grassroots effort has transformed into a pillar of the community, supporting at-risk kids and their families throughout our home region. Now, many of the original participants have grown into leaders in the business community.
At the benefit event, we were privileged to hear directly from former RBI Kids. Their stories highlighted the organization’s integral role in fostering their confidence and demonstrating how the values they learned continue to positively impact their adult lives.
We also heard about the value of community and sports from dignitaries such as this year’s featured speaker, University of Texas head football coach Steve Sarkisian. Coach Sark wasn’t the only UT leader on-site, as UT head baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle was also on hand to support the event. Former Texas Rangers baseball star Mark Teixeira also attended the event to provide his support.
The presence of some of the most visible and impactful sports leaders in Texas – as well as members of the local business community – captured the deep commitment of individuals and companies to invest in RBI Austin’s mission to serve the next generation of young leaders.
