In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, biotechnology companies are ramping up research efforts to develop new, safe ways to enhance the immunity of populations across the globe. This includes finding innovative ways to develop antibody therapies that will help people fight diseases.
We recently partnered with a biotechnology company in the Southwestern U.S. to support their in-house genetic research efforts. Specifically, we are providing a Cleanroom Certification for their cleanroom facility space.
Our goal is to ensure that the client’s cleanroom facility meets the highest standards for the research that is being conducted. We will certify the cleanroom with a first-time-right mentality to minimize disruption and ensure that critical research can continue on their timeline.
Our Project Scope for the Cleanroom Certification
Our team has been commissioned to provide testing, survey, and validation services to ensure the viability of the cleanroom to support the genetic research.
We will leak test all air filters for performance including airflow volumetrics, ensure that particle removal efficiency meets the Class EU GMP Annex 1 standards, and validate the room pressurization for all the rooms in the cleanroom facility.
At the end of the project, we will produce an NEBB stamped certification report that will certify that the facility meets all pertinent cleanroom requirements. This final step will provide full assurance to the client that the facility is ready to support the research to be performed.
As part of our company’s long-standing delivery of cleanroom certification projects, we have developed one of the largest NEBB teams in the industry. This enables our team to certify and test cleanrooms for virtually any client, anywhere in the world.
“With decades of combined experience certifying cleanrooms for biotechnology companies, we are confident that we will deliver on all services to support the client’s research efforts,” says Emil Bordelon, senior NEBB Certified Professional for AM. “The world is waiting for new ways to help fight diseases, and we are excited to do our part supporting our client’s research.”
