Last year, we highlighted some amazing stories of how our employees have made a difference in their communities by participating in the Ann Rose Fund program.
This program allows employees of our company to contribute a portion of their regular paycheck directly to an organization of their choosing. Then, our company matches each employee’s donation on a dollar-by-dollar basis to multiply the impact.
In 2021, we collectively donated thousands of dollars to local charities and organizations such as hospitals, churches, ministries, military support programs, children’s groups, women’s support centers, pet shelters, and community outreach programs. It was truly a successful year for the program meeting a wide variety of needs that our employees are passionate about.
Ann Rose Funds: Highlighting Specific Employee Contributions
We would like to highlight two employee stories that capture the specific impact of the Ann Rose Funds program on the communities where we live and work.
– David Durall, Project Manager: David contributes a portion of his paycheck to 4:12 Kids, an organization that supports underserved kids in Central Texas. This is a great story because 4:12 Kids is run by fellow company employees Charity Kittrell and Kevin Kittrell!
4:12 Kids supports every aspect of a child’s life, even supporting caregivers and community members. The organization applies biblical principles to each area of the organization, including events and activities.
David’s contribution is helping make an impact because the organization has no paid staff and is run by a volunteer board. The organization’s life-giving programs and events are only possible through donations from the local business community. We appreciate that we can join alongside David to support this great cause!
“The Ann Rose program is a very easy way to make charitable contributions, and the employee match is nice, too!” says David. “I encourage other employees to consider the employee match. It’s a simple payroll deduction. Set it and forget it.”
– Michele Kazlaski, Administrative Assistant: Michele contributes a portion of her paycheck to Rock Church Worship Center in Pennsylvania. The ability to make a donation through the Ann Rose program is near and dear to Michele’s heart.
When Michele’s husband was ill with cancer, the church rallied around their family and helped support programs that their kids went to for Youth Group. After Michele’s husband passed, there was so much support from the church. By enrolling in our employee match program, Michele was able to give back to the church.
“I have seen our church provide love and support to not only our church family but the community,” says Michele. “This program is just one more reason that I am incredibly proud to work for and represent an amazing company. Anyone who is already giving or is considering giving should look into this program. At no additional cost, you can double your impact and help more people.”
