There are many different ways to evaluate the success of a high-tech construction company. One of the most important metrics we look at is repeat business, which is why we are proud of our 95% customer retention rate.
Customers that work with AM Technical Solutions (AM) immediately notice the investment and engagement from our leadership team. They see how our culture starts at the top, flows to our team members, and results in strong collaboration with their team to ensure project success. We become a true partner, which makes companies want to continue the working relationship to support their project needs.
For example, we recently expanded the working relationship with one of our biotechnology customers. We are taking on additional project scope to support their biotechnology facility expansion plans so that they can continue critical research developing new gene therapies.
How We’re Supporting the Biotechnology Facility Expansion
Our team engaged with the biotech company for two years prior to their team moving forward with the build-out of a new facility.
When the company submitted a bid for the startup, commissioning, and qualification of their new biotech facility, we spent ample time working out many of the small details for the project. Our focus was to instill a sense of confidence in our “First Time Right” approach to project delivery.
We were awarded the original scope, which also included utility infrastructure. Our customer then looked to us for support with other aspects of their facility expansion project:
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program support.
- Sampling and analysis of process gas (compressed air, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide).
- Facility certification.
- BSC installation and operation qualification, including certification.
All of these project scopes were critical for our client’s new facility to be operational for its intended use. We were also mindful that we needed to put the customer’s teams in the best position to continue their life-changing research and therapeutic commercialization.
“When we are able to build trust and execute projects to success, it continues to open doors with the same client, as well as open the eyes of other clients in the biotech industry,” says Brian Williams, SVP, AM Life Sciences.
“For our biotech customer, we focused on how we could provide a complete solution to ensure their success. The positive relationship we already established with the customer created a natural opportunity for us to grow the relationship and lend our expertise in more ways. Now, our customer has the opportunity to perform amazing medical research in a world-class facility.”
