Abbie Gregg, Chief Technology Officer of AM Technical Solutions, Inc., is an industry expert and cleanroom consultant with more than 30 years of experience in engineering consulting. She specializes in microelectronics process analysis and the design, startup and operations of cleanrooms, advanced laboratories and manufacturing facilities. Abbie has sponsored several key semiconductor and life sciences projects at AMTS and continues to consult on advanced technology, novel materials and device development, design and construction challenges, and manufacturing scale up for AMTS clients. Abbie is a Judge on the SEFA Lab of the Year Award team and a member of the ASU Chemical Engineering Accreditation Advisory Board.
As President of Abbie Gregg, Inc. (AGI), Abbie successfully built a preeminent Architecture, Engineering, Consulting and Design company and personally led over 850 projects worldwide. These have included Operations Consulting, Facility Design and Construction, and Startup and Optimization projects.
She has advanced the capabilities of semiconductor technologies around the world through work in Wafer Fab Designs, MEMS, Flexible Electronics, Nanotechnology, Photovoltaic and FPD Projects in USA, Europe, Canada, Asia, Middle East, Australia, and South America. Projects have included technology transfer, yield enhancement, improved operations effectiveness, and all phases of design, engineering and construction for high-tech facilities.
Abbie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Maine. Abbie served as a Process Engineer at Fairchild Semiconductor, Engineering Section Head at National Semiconductor, Engineering Manager at Motorola and General Instrument Corp, Fab Operations Manager at GTE Microcircuits, Assembly and Test Operations Manager at Medtronic MicroRel, and QA/International Tech Transfer Manager at General Semiconductor.
Abbie makes her home in Tempe, Arizona but still speaks with her New York childhood accent. She was recently thrilled to become a grandmother!
